What is Decentralization?

Decentralization is a GROWTH enabler!

I’ve had the opportunity of working with hundreds of SMEs over the last 6 years in Entrepreneurial space, and one thing I can tell you for a fact is; Many Business owners do things all ALONE even when it’s evident that they need helping hands.

I don’t know who need to hear this, but you don’t necessarily have to take another online courses to grow your business if you’ve had a couple of business development trainings in recent times.

What you need is DECENTRALIZATION!

Focus on your strength, your area of expertise and hire professionals to take care of other aspects of your business.

Here are FIVE ways you can BOOST productivity in your Business, without hiring new people:

1. Call for intern: Remember the goal is to assign some responsibilities to well trained professionals or experts. If don’t have the resources to hire new people, you may consider training selected few to learn from you, and also make them use that skill to serve you for a particular period of time.

2. Trade by barter: You don’t have much money, but you have product or services to offer? This means of transaction has always been in existence right from the days of our forefathers and still pretty much relevant.

3. Collaboration: You can never go wrong with collaboration if you do it the right way. Spell out your business goals, find out what business success means to the other entrepreneur and create a realistic and well tailored strategies to achieve your goals respectively. So, on days your ENERGY is low, your partner is all over the place singing the gospel of your business.

4. Activity planning and Automation: Until you pen down your business activities and tasks, you’ll will never truly understand how much you can delegate and automate. This gives you ample time to focus on your personal life and boost your level of creativity.

5. Upskilling & Reskilling your existing staffs: Instead of hiring new people to carry out some administrative tasks in your business, upskill the old staff, increase their salary, add incentives if necessary, problem SOLVED!
